I brought in my recent large painting, illustrating Serena Williams serving a ball through a glass wall. A few entrepreneurs and investors stopped by as I explained the inspiration behind my artwork. Then, later that evening, I received 3 offers for the painting. I was in shock as I accepted the highest bid at $15,000.
